Whether it’s a love triangle drenched in drama, a family feud over Sunday brunch, or a secrets-and-sparkles talk show that redefined celebrity culture—Karan Johar has been a genre in himself for over two decades. And this year, as the filmmaker, producer, and cultural icon rings in his birthday, Tata Play Binge has brewed up the ultimate binge-fest for all things Johar.

In an official press note, Tata Play announced a special Karan Johar-themed content lineup titled ‘Drama, Dharma & Decaf’, calling it a “fabulous four-course binge fest that screams Johar-fare at its best.” From legendary blockbusters to recent cultural moments, the list is a treat for fans who have followed his cinematic journey and signature flair for storytelling.

Topping the curated watchlist is ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, the film that began it all. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji, the 1998 blockbuster redefined friendship and love for an entire generation. With unforgettable songs like ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ and dialogues that still echo in pop culture, the film marks Johar’s directorial debut and remains a nostalgia trip for ‘90s kids.

Next up is ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, the multigenerational love saga that reunited Johar with romance on the big screen. Featuring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, and legends like Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi, the film served grandeur, bold choices, and a celebration of 25 years of Johar’s directorial career. With hits like ‘Tum Kya Mile’ and ‘What Jhumka’, the movie is a reminder of Johar’s knack for pairing high fashion with high emotion.

No Johar birthday celebration is complete without his iconic talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’, which has turned casual celebrity banter into headline-making content over the years. Known for its infamous rapid-fire rounds, cheeky confessions, and viral meme-worthy moments, the show has become a mainstay in Indian pop culture and is available exclusively on Tata Play Binge.

Rounding off the list is ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’, a time-travel crime thriller co-produced by Dharma Productions. The series spans three timelines—1990, 2001, and 2023—and showcases a grittier side of Johar’s production vision. Directed by Umesh Bist, the series marks a fresh departure from the usual glitz and explores mystery and suspense in a layered, thrilling narrative.

With this vibrant mix of romance, reality, and mystery, Tata Play Binge invites viewers to pour a mug of koffee and dive into a world shaped by Karan Johar’s unmistakable touch—this time, all in one place.
