In a major leadership move, IndiaDotcom Digital Private Limited (IDPL), formerly Zee Digital that was the digital wing of the Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL), has announced the appointment of Sushant S Mohan as its Chief Editor and Business Manager.
This dual-role position places him at the forefront of both editorial excellence and business innovation, positioning IDPL for a new phase of aggressive growth and digital transformation, a company press release stated.
Sushant’s new mandate involves steering the editorial vision and content strategy across all digital platforms under the IDPL umbrella, while simultaneously leading monetisation, innovation, and expansion efforts across India’s fast-evolving media landscape.
A digital media veteran since 2008, Mohan has been instrumental in crafting forward-thinking content ecosystems and revenue-first strategies for some of the country’s leading media organisations. Most recently, he served as CEO of DNA – Daily News & Analysis, where he successfully pivoted the brand to a digital-first model.
His experience also spans senior editorial roles at ZMCL, Opera News, News18, BBC, Fever 104, Red FM, All India Radio and Doordarshan where he was responsible for shaping content strategy and building impactful editorial teams.
