Pro Panja League (PPL), the brainchild of Bollywood actor and producer Parvin Dabas and Preeti Jhangiani, has garnered significant attention as it kicks off its inaugural season at the prestigious IGI Stadium in New Delhi.
The Pro Panja League received a major boost with the entry of Bollywood actor and entrepreneur Suniel Shetty, who has joined the league as a minority stakeholder at the group level.
Expressing his enthusiasm for this partnership, according to a report in Economic Times, Shetty revealed, “My shareholding will be in single-digit equity.”
“For me, it was always about entering into the league and becoming a part of it. I honestly believe that after cricket, there is only one league that can be popular, and that is Panja. Size does not matter when it comes to this sport. It’s the strength, technique, and the power of your mind,” Shetty said, according to the report.
Launched with the objective of marrying sports and entertainment, Pro Panja League has successfully captured the audience’s attention. Shetty’s vast experience in the entertainment industry and business prowess adds tremendous value to the league. “He really knows how to grow companies and has a huge vision,” acknowledged producer Parvin Dabas.
