Comedian and actor Sumukhi Suresh’s first Netflix stand-up special, ‘Hoemonal’, will premiere on October 14.

According to an official announcement by Netflix today, the special draws from Sumukhi’s experiences as a woman in her 30s. It explores topics including hormonal changes, dating, relationships, singlehood, body image and questions around motherhood.

Sumukhi has performed the special across India and internationally, including at the Edinburgh Fringe. Through comedy, she talks about the changes, challenges and expectations that come with being in her 30s.

‘Hoemonal’ takes a personal and humorous look at topics that are often difficult to discuss openly.’Hoemonal’ will be available to stream on Netflix from October 14.
