Sony Sports Network, part of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), is set to broadcast the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 live across its television channels and Sony LIV, bringing the next generation of women’s cricketing talent to viewers across the country. The tournament will be held from February 13 to 22 and will feature some of Asia’s most promising women’s teams.
According to a press release from the network, the tournament will be available to viewers in India in multiple languages for the first time, including English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The language feeds will be offered for all matches scheduled on February 13, 15 and 17, along with the semi-finals and the final, ensuring wider accessibility and engagement for audiences.
The competition is expected to draw significant attention, particularly the high-voltage clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan, scheduled for February 15. The tournament aims to showcase emerging talent while offering fans a glimpse into the future of women’s cricket in Asia.
At the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026, audiences will see several prominent players representing their respective teams, including Radha Yadav, who will lead India A, Esha Oza as captain of the UAE, Anushka Sanjeewani leading Sri Lanka A, Fahima Khatun heading Bangladesh A, Natthakan Chantham representing Thailand, and Rubina Chettri from Nepal.
Yadav brings significant leadership experience to the Indian side, having been a consistent performer in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Her all-round abilities and experience are expected to play a crucial role as India fields a young and promising squad for the tournament.
The Indian lineup also features Anushka Sharma, a batting all-rounder set to make her debut at the tournament. She has impressed with her performances in domestic cricket and the WPL, earning her maiden national call-up. Her inclusion reflects the team’s focus on nurturing emerging talent.
