GTC Network has appointed Gagan Sardana as Regional Head Sales for the Western Indian region, reinforcing its leadership team as the network steps up expansion across key advertising markets in the region. In his new role, Sardana will work closely with senior management to drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships and deepen the network’s footprint across the western market.
As per a press note issued by the company yesterday, Sardana brings with him over two decades of experience in media and entertainment sales leadership. Before joining GTC Network, he spent more than a decade at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., where he handled large regional portfolios and consistently delivered revenue growth across genres including general entertainment, movies, sports, music and regional channels.
GTC Network is former boss of PTC Network Rabindra Narayan’s new project that envisages to take Punjabi language news global encompassing faster, cleaner and more relevant coverage, live reporting that respects the viewers’ time and a backbone that’s built with an AI-first approach for smarter updates.
During his tenure at Zee, Sardana was instrumental in leading multiple market turnarounds and building strong, long-term partnerships with advertisers and agencies across key metros. His experience spans managing complex markets, scaling revenues and aligning sales strategies with evolving client needs.
At GTC Network, Sardana will focus on strengthening the network’s presence in the West, scaling advertising sales across television and digital platforms, and forging strategic partnerships with agencies, brands and distribution partners. His appointment comes at a crucial phase for the network, which is expanding its national footprint with a sharper focus on content-led growth and technology-driven advertising solutions.
