Sony YAY! premieres Jujutsu Kaisen on April 15

In a major treat for anime fans across India, Sony YAY! has announced the television premiere of the global hit anime series Jujutsu Kaisen for the very first time on Indian TV. The popular youth entertainment channel will be airing the show in Hindi, making the acclaimed series accessible to a wider Indian audience.

Sony YAY!, known for bringing fresh and engaging international content to Indian viewers, revealed that Jujutsu Kaisen would premiere on April 15, 2025. This marks a significant moment for anime fandom in India, as the country’s appetite for Japanese animation continues to surge. With gripping storytelling, stunning animation, and complex characters, Jujutsu Kaisen has become a massive success worldwide since its debut in 2020.

The story of Jujutsu Kaisen follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who gets drawn into the world of cursed spirits after a series of supernatural events. Packed with thrilling battles, emotional depth, and intricate world-building, the anime has won several accolades, including the prestigious Anime of the Year award at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

Speaking on the launch, a Sony YAY! spokesperson said, “We are excited to bring Jujutsu Kaisen to television screens across India.
