Sony Sports Network is set to bring an action-packed Saturday for sports fans on May 30 with a line-up featuring football, cricket, tennis and combat sports across its television channels and digital platform Sony LIV. The schedule will be headlined by the UEFA Champions League Final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, alongside Roland Garros coverage and India Women’s cricket action against England Women.
According to a Sony Sports Network announcement, the network has planned an extensive multi-sport broadcast lineup aimed at offering viewers a full day of live sporting entertainment across multiple languages. The coverage will be available on Sony Sports Ten channels and Sony LIV.
The biggest attraction of the day will be the UEFA Champions League Final where PSG take on Arsenal at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest. The pre-show is scheduled to begin at 8 PM before match coverage. PSG enter the final as defending champions, while Arsenal will be aiming to lift a major European trophy after a gap of two decades, setting up what is expected to be one of the biggest football clashes of the season.
Cricket fans will also have plenty to follow as India Women face England Women in the second T20 International at 7 PM. With both teams looking to build momentum in the series, the contest is expected to feature aggressive batting, intense bowling spells and quick momentum shifts typical of the T20 format.
Earlier in the day, tennis action from Roland Garros will begin from 1.30 pm onwards as the third round of the Grand Slam tournament unfolds. Former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, along with hosts Somdev Devvarman and Vedika Anand, will be part of the ‘Extraaa Serve’ show analysing key matches and performances. Players including Jannik Sinner and Coco Gauff are expected to be among the major attractions during the day’s play on the clay courts in Paris.
Sony Sports Network said the events will be broadcast live across Sony Sports Ten 2, Sony Sports Ten 3 in Hindi, and Sony Sports Ten 4 in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, along with streaming access on Sony LIV.
With football, cricket and Grand Slam tennis all scheduled on the same day, the network is positioning May 30 as one of its biggest multi-sport programming days for viewers across the country.
