Sony Sports Network and SonyLIV have announced their expert panel and multilingual commentary team for the ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2026, which started on August 28.
Former India captain Mithali Raj will lead the expert panel. She will be joined by former India captain and ICC Hall of Famer Anjum Chopra, Veda Krishnamurthy, Reema Malhotra, Niranjana Nagarajan, Sunitha Anand and former India women’s cricket team coach W.V. Raman, among other experts.
According to a Sony Pictures Networks India press release issued on Thursday, the experts will provide pre-match analysis, mid-innings insights and post-match reviews across Sony Sports Network and SonyLIV. The network’s ‘Extraaa Innings’ studio will also cover player performances, team strategies and key matches.
The tournament is being covered in five languages — English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The Women’s Asia Cup is being broadcast on Sony Sports Network and streamed on SonyLIV.
The tournament will continue until September 13. India will play Thailand on August 30 at 8 PM, while the much-awaited India-Pakistan match is scheduled for September 5 at 8 PM.
