Following the success of Season 1, Sony LIV is preparing to release the second season of its critically acclaimed Marathi original, ‘Shantit Kranti’.
Season 2 promises more laughs and reawakens the spirit of self-discovery.
Shreyas (Abhay Mahajan) surprises the lads with the news that he’s getting married after 18 months apart, and three boys decide to travel on Shreyas’ worldwide bachelor trip.
When they discover Shreyas is not even engaged, Prasanna (Lalit Prabhakar) has brought his infant, and Dinar (Alok Rajwade) has booked them on a 6-day pilgrimage to Nepal in a bus with 10 random strangers instead of a bachelor’s trip, things quickly spiral out of hand.
The show was created by TVF in collaboration with BhaDiPa and is produced by Arunabh Kumar. It is directed by Sarang Sathaye and Paula McGlynn. Among the cast members are Abhay Mahajan, Alok Rajwade, Lalit Prabhakar, Mrinmayee Godbole, Priya Banerjee, and Priyadarshini Indalkar.
‘Shantit Kranti 2’ is streaming from October 13 only on Sony LIV.
