Celebrated actor and devoted reader Sonali Bendre is all set to release her much-anticipated new book, ‘Book of Books’, on April 23 aptly timed to mark World Book Day.
Known for her love for literature and for building an online book community over the years, Bendre’s latest work offers a personal, heartfelt reflection on the many books that shaped her life, and how reading became her anchor through some of her most challenging times, PTI reported.
Published by HarperCollins India, ‘Book of Books’ is more than just a memoir — it’s a curated reading guide, a love letter to literature, and a journey through the written word.
Drawing from her experiences as a reader, cancer survivor, and book club founder, Bendre invites readers into her world, where fiction became comfort, stories offered strength, and books became bridges to connection and healing.
Speaking about the release, Bendre shared, “Reading saved me. Books gave me hope, companionship, and endless inspiration. With Book of Books, I wanted to share not just my story, but also the joy of discovering new worlds through reading. It’s for anyone who’s ever lost themselves in a good book—or wants to.”
