Discovery Communications India, brand and marketing lead, Shruti Tyagi has resigned from her post after an almost 5-year working experience and joined Viacom18 streaming platform Voot as senior director- marketing.
The news was shared by Shruti on her LinkedIn account, where she wrote, “I believe in utilizing consumer and market research tools to develop comprehensive strategies that consistently ace the product’s market positioning and not only achieve targeted budget numbers but also maintain high standards of corporate brand integrity.”
At Discovery, Shruti was leading the Brand Communication for the network, channel marketing for flagship channels i.e. Discovery, Animal Planet, TLC, and launched their sports offering, Eurosport. She also led B2B marketing for the entire network.
With almost 11 years of experience in building brands and creating award-winning marketing campaigns, Shruti has also worked with Times Television Network and Zee Entertainment Enterprise Ltd in the past.
Shruti completed her MBA in Advertising and Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication.
