The Tamil political thriller ‘Maamannan,’ directed by Mari Selvaraj and featuring Vadivelu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Fahadh Faasil, and Keerthy Suresh, will be available for streaming on Netflix starting from July 27, as announced by the platform on Tuesday.
Mari Selvaraj, known for directing “Karnan” and ‘Pariyerum Perumal,’ helms the film, with A R Rahman serving as the music composer, PTI reported.
The official Twitter page of Netflix India shared the premiere date for ‘Maamannan.’
The movie delves into the topics of caste politics, reservation, and social injustice, following the narrative of Vadivelu’s character, the titular Maamannan, and his son Veera, portrayed by Stalin. The film is produced by Stalin’s Red Giant Movies.
