The new season of ‘Sapne vs Everyone’ is set to premiere on Prime Video from May 1, with the makers locking in the release date for its much-anticipated return. The series, which struck a chord with audiences for its grounded storytelling, is now gearing up to take its narrative forward with deeper character arcs and higher emotional stakes.
According to an ANI report, Season 2 picks up from the cliffhanger of the previous installment and continues to explore the intersecting worlds of Mumbai’s film industry and real estate. The story follows Prashant, played by Paramvir Singh Cheema, as he struggles to carve a space for himself in the highly competitive entertainment industry, while Jimmy, portrayed by Ambrish Verma, finds himself drawn deeper into the complex web of real estate and politics.
Returning to the series are Vijayant Kohli alongside Abhishek Chauhan, Nidhi Shah, and Khushali Kumar in key roles, further strengthening the ensemble. As both central characters navigate rejection, ambition, and shifting power dynamics, the narrative delves into a larger question—whether success is shaped by destiny or by those willing to take control of it.
Co-producer Vijay Koshy described the show as a deeply personal exploration of ambition and the challenges that come with chasing dreams. Reflecting on the response to the first season, he noted that audiences connected strongly with its authenticity and emotional depth. With the new season, the team aims to build on that foundation, offering a more layered and nuanced portrayal of its characters and their journeys.
With its relatable themes and realistic portrayal of struggle and aspiration, ‘Sapne vs Everyone’ S2 is expected to resonate with viewers once again as it expands its reach across India and more than 240 countries and territories on Prime Video.
