SAB’s ‘Damini’ gets fresh twist on DD Sahyadri

Sri Adhikari Brothers Network is set to bring back one of its most beloved shows, ‘Damini’, in a brand-new avatar titled ‘Damini 2.0,’ soon to air on Doordarshan Sahyadri. The new edition will continue the legacy of the original series, known for its compelling storytelling, emotional depth, and strong social messages, a report in The Economic Times stated.

Carrying forward the soul of the original ‘Damini’, the upcoming series promises to deliver a mix of drama, inspiration, and realism that connects with today’s audience.

Through ‘Damini 2.0’, the creators hope to strike a balance between nostalgia and new-age storytelling, appealing to both long-time fans and first-time viewers. The show is expected to offer a rich television experience that celebrates women’s strength and societal progress while staying rooted in relatable, human stories.
