SAB TV is planning to bring back some of its popular classic shows for a new generation of viewers.
According to an ANI report from Mumbai yesterday, Ravi Adhikari, Chairman of SAB Television Network Ltd, said the channel is looking at reviving popular shows from its older library, including ‘Suraag’ and ‘Yess Boss’.
The network is also considering the return of other well-known shows such as ‘Commander’ and ‘Say Na Something To Anupam Uncle’.
The move is aimed at introducing these classic shows to younger viewers while also reconnecting with audiences who remember them from their original runs.
SAB TV has a large collection of older programmes, many of which continue to have recall among viewers. The network is now looking at ways to bring some of these shows back in a format that can appeal to today’s audience.
The revival plans are part of SAB TV’s effort to use its popular older content and give familiar shows a new opportunity to connect with viewers.More details about the format, cast and release dates of the revived shows are expected to be announced later.
