Hollywood actors Rose Byrne and Jenna Ortega are set to star in the upcoming sports drama film ‘Nasty’.
Accoding to a PTI report,the film will be directed by filmmaker Mary Bronstein, who is known for projects such as ‘Yeast’. The movie will be released by Clockwork, the new independent film label launched by Warner Bros., as part of its focus on supporting unique and filmmaker driven projects.
‘Nasty’ also marks a reunion between Rose Byrne and Mary Bronstein. The two previously worked together on the 2025 film ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You’, where Byrne delivered an acclaimed performance and received her first Academy Award nomination in the Best Actress category.
Jenna Ortega, known for her performances in projects like ‘Wednesday’ and ‘Scream’, will be joining Byrne in this new sports drama. However, details about the film’s storyline, characters, and production schedule have not been revealed yet.
With Byrne’s recent critical success and Ortega’s growing popularity in Hollywood, ‘Nasty’ is expected to be one of the notable upcoming projects from Warner Bros.’ Clockwork label.
