‘Rise and Fall Season 2’ is witnessing rising tensions, emotional confrontations and fresh power struggles as three wildcards enter the Tower and Tej Pratap Yadav exits the show. The latest developments see Gautam Gulati’s outburst trigger a major clash in the Basement, while a new elimination twist reshapes the race for the Ultimate Ruler title.

The drama begins with a confrontation involving Gautam, Sara Gurpal and Raj Grover. The situation escalates when Gautam slams his leg against a bench, leaving Sara angry and uncomfortable. Having known Gautam for eight years and considered him a friend, Sara refuses to ignore his behaviour. She reveals that his aggressive actions brought back memories of an abusive relationship and left her feeling genuinely frightened.

With Kaira Anu and Raj Grover supporting Sara, the Workers make their displeasure clear. Gautam, who is already focused on settling scores with Shehzad Poonawalla, now faces opposition within the Basement as well.

The tensions continue as Kaira’s rivalry with Gautam resurfaces. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary finds herself caught in the middle after attempting to calm Gautam down. The Workers remind Priyanka that they had supported her during her earlier conflict with him, leaving her feeling let down by the group. The situation escalates further when Priyanka and Kajal Raghwani clash over honesty, with Kaira joining the argument.

Meanwhile, emotions run high in the Penthouse as Swara Bhasker becomes overwhelmed while thinking about her family. With arguments intensifying downstairs and emotions spilling over upstairs, the contestants find themselves dealing with personal conflicts alongside the competition.

By the following morning, the Workers attempt to move past the previous day’s disagreements and clear the air. In the Penthouse, Niharika Tiwari and wildcard contestant Rishabh also resolve their differences over misunderstandings involving mutual connections outside the Tower.

However, the brief calm does not last long. As the Rulers and Workers come together for the Navratri Utsav, the festivities bring fresh confrontations. The Workers take charge of the celebrations in the Penthouse, including making garlands for the Rulers, but Kaira and Kajal’s visit upstairs brings unresolved rivalries back into focus.

Rishabh calls Kaira “Judgemental” and “Desperate”, prompting her to hit back by bringing his girlfriend into the argument. The exchange adds another layer of tension to the celebrations, showing that the contestants’ personal equations remain unsettled despite the festive atmosphere.

The competition takes a decisive turn as Shehzad Poonawalla’s reign as Ultimate Ruler comes to an end. The Workers are given the opportunity to choose their favourite Ruler, and they select Niharika Tiwari. The decision gives her the power to eliminate two contenders, and she wastes no time in removing Shehzad and Irina Rudakova from the race.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Sara Gurpal also support Niharika, further influencing the contest for the Ultimate Ruler crown.

In another twist, the Workers are asked to choose a contestant who can swap one of the Rulers still in contention. They place their trust in Rishabh, leaving him with a crucial decision that could change the balance of power in the Tower. Whether he honours their faith or makes an unexpected move remains to be seen.
