Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio has launched its new streaming platform ‘JioGamesWatch’ under its JioGames offering.
JioGamesWatch is the service’s streaming platform that provides an immersive and interactive game streaming platform experience across multiple Jio devices.
The platform targets a range of users in the gaming space from gamers, esports athletes, and casual gaming enthusiasts to game publishers and developers.
Users can find the content of their choice either through live gameplays or video-on-demand (VOD) streams, Economic Times reported.
It can be accessed through Jio Set-top-box (STB) on the home screen and has a smartphone version too.
The video on demand (VOD) feature will allow users to subscribe to their choice of creators and influencers, and community events will provide an engagement platform for viewers and creators.
It also offers mobile streaming where creators can go live on the platform with various resolutions enabling them to Stream in FHD (1920x1080p), HD (1280x720p), and so on with low latency.
