JioGames, the gaming platform owned by Reliance Jio, has announced the integration of Google’s GameSnacks portfolio into its JioGames app and Jio set-top boxes. This move marks a significant expansion for JioGames, a hub that connects gamers, game publishers, spectators, and gaming communities.
According to The Economic Times, JioGames users will gain access to eight popular HTML5 games, including ‘Daily Sudoku,’ ‘Om Nom Run,’ and ‘Traffic Tom,’ during the initial rollout.
New games will be added weekly to JioGames’s Android app and soon to the Jio set-top boxes. These games will be available for free, accessible directly from the JioGames app homepage on Android devices.
Additionally, GameSnacks games will be available on JioGames mini-apps within MyJio and JioTV.
GameSnacks offers a wide array of lightweight, quick-loading HTML5 games compatible with low-memory devices and various network conditions. With over 100 games across different genres, this collaboration aims to enhance the gaming experience for millions of users in India.
By providing seamless access to a diverse selection of casual games without the need for installation, JioGames and GameSnacks seek to deliver an enriched and convenient gaming experience.
