Red FM has expanded its weekend programming with the launch of a new comedy format titled ‘The Aditi Mittal Show’, now airing across 28 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, Chandigarh and Jammu.
The show brings stand-up comedian and writer Aditi Mittal to radio in a character-driven format that blends satire, social observation and everyday humour.
As shared in a press release, the programme follows a distinctive character-led structure, featuring several personas created by Mittal such as ‘Aadhe Maa’, ‘Munni Mursheed’, ‘Coach Jagruti’ and characters from ‘Non Humans of India’. Drawing from familiar situations and lived experiences, the content uses humour to reflect everyday realities that listeners can easily relate to.
‘The Aditi Mittal Show’ airs every Saturday from 9 am to 11 am, with a repeat broadcast on Sundays. Designed as a 13-week series, it combines sketches, satire and largely unscripted moments, positioning itself as a light, episodic addition to Red FM’s weekend lineup.
Speaking about the show, Aditi Mittal said the format is rooted in everyday Indian life and aims to offer listeners an engaging break from their daily routines. She noted that much of the content is unscripted, allowing for honest and relatable conversations, and added that radio’s personal nature enables a direct connection with audiences across cities.
Commenting on the collaboration, Nisha Narayanan, director and COO of Red FM, said the show goes beyond comic expression by transforming everyday observations into relatable comedy. She highlighted that Mittal’s humour is shaped by lived experiences and cultural nuance, making it contemporary yet widely resonant. Narayanan added that the association reinforces Red FM’s focus on innovative, honest content that mirrors the everyday lives of its listeners.
The launch of ‘The Aditi Mittal Show’ is being supported by on-air promotions along with digital amplification across Red FM’s social media platforms, as the network looks to strengthen audience engagement through fresh voices and distinctive formats.
