Rashmika Mandanna’s much-awaited film ‘The Girlfriend’ is all set to hit theatres on November 7. Written and directed by Rahul Ravindran, best known for ‘Chi La Sow’ and ‘Manmadhudu 2’, the film is presented by veteran producer Allu Aravind under the banner of Geetha Arts and jointly produced by Mass Movie Makers and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment.
According to a PTI report, ‘The Girlfriend’ will release in five languages — Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam — expanding its reach to audiences across India. The announcement was made by Rashmika herself through her Instagram handle on Saturday, where she unveiled the trailer and confirmed the release date.
“I know you guys have been waiting on this one, and here it isss. #TheGirlfriend in theatres from November 7th, 2025. In Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. #TheGirlfriendOnNov7th #WhoIsYourType,” she captioned the post, hinting at an intriguing storyline that has already sparked curiosity among fans.
Apart from ‘The Girlfriend’, Rashmika has a packed lineup of upcoming films. She will next be seen in Maddock Films’ horror-comedy ‘Thamma’, opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for ‘Munjya’, the film also stars Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles and is scheduled for release on October 21.
Rashmika is also busy shooting for ‘Cocktail 2’, alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The film is directed by Homi Adajania and written by Luv Ranjan, with production by Maddock Films. The shoot began in August, and the project is expected to bring together an exciting blend of romance and drama.
With ‘The Girlfriend’ marking her next big release, Rashmika Mandanna continues to expand her presence across multiple industries, promising audiences another engaging cinematic experience this November.
