The makers of ‘Peddi’, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, have officially announced that the film will hit theatres worldwide on June 4, 2026. The release date was revealed through a social media post featuring a striking poster, building anticipation around the upcoming project.
According to a PTI report, the film was earlier scheduled to release on March 27 but has now been pushed to June. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, ‘Peddi’ is expected to be a high-intensity drama, with the announcement caption highlighting its tone: “Grit is his story. Determination is his weapon.”
The film also marks an important milestone for Janhvi Kapoor, as it becomes her second Telugu project following her appearance in ‘Devara: Part 1’ in 2024. Her pairing with Ram Charan has already generated considerable buzz, with fans eager to see the fresh on-screen combination.
While details about the storyline remain under wraps, the film’s title and promotional material hint at a character-driven narrative centred on resilience and ambition. With a strong lead cast and a director known for his storytelling, ‘Peddi’ is shaping up to be one of the notable releases of the year.
As the new release date approaches, expectations are building around the film’s scale and performance, especially given Ram Charan’s strong box office presence and Janhvi Kapoor’s expanding footprint in regional cinema.
