Actor and host Rajeev Khandelwal will offer viewers a rare glimpse into his life away from the spotlight in an upcoming episode of ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’, where a heartfelt interaction with contestant Shilpa Prabhukar leads to a candid conversation about his personal life in Goa.

According to a show update released on Wednesday, the warm moment unfolds when contestant Shilpa Prabhukar surprises Rajeev with fresh cashew fruits brought from Goa. The thoughtful gesture immediately strikes a chord with the actor, who fondly opens up about spending time collecting cashews from the trees at his Goa home whenever he is away from work commitments.

Seeing the fresh cashew fruit, Rajeev instantly recognised it and spoke about his fondness for kaju, especially its use in making healthy juice. Sharing memories from his Goa residence, the actor revealed that he has three cashew trees at his house and often spends his free time gathering cashews during the season.

“Main kaju ko juice ke liye istemaal karta hu kyun ki yeh bohot healthy hota hai. Mere Goa wale ghar mein teen kaju ke ped lage hue hai, jab main kuch nahi kar raha hota hu kaju ke season toh main swimming pool se jo patte uthate hain na usse main kaaju ikaththa kar raha hota hu,” Rajeev shared during the interaction.

Adding humour to the conversation, he further joked, “Aap samajh gaye honge ki jab main kaam nahi kar raha hota hu toh kya kar raha hota hu.”

The candid confession brought smiles on the set and offered audiences a more personal and relatable side of the actor beyond the glamour of television and entertainment.
