NDTV Profit has announced an influential jury lineup for its upcoming Business Leadership Awards, bringing together some of India’s most respected business leaders, market veterans and corporate voices to recognise individuals and organisations shaping the country’s economic and industrial landscape.
The awards initiative has been positioned as a platform aimed at honouring leaders whose impact extends beyond financial performance and market valuations to influence industries, institutions and India’s long-term growth story. According to the organisers, the awards are designed to recognise business leadership marked by scale, resilience, credibility and strategic vision in an increasingly volatile global environment.
The jury for the NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards will be chaired by Sunil Bharti Mittal. Joining him on the panel are Noel Naval Tata, Cyril Shroff, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw.
The jury also includes U.K. Sinha, Jayant Sinha, Ramesh Damani and C. S. Setty.
Speaking about the initiative, Rahul Kanwal said the intent behind the awards is to recognise India Inc.’s most influential achievers while ensuring the awards are respected for the seriousness of their evaluation process and the stature of the jury.
“The intent behind the NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards is to recognise India Inc.’s finest achievers and most consequential leaders. We want these awards to be respected for the seriousness of their process, the stature of the jury and the credibility of the judgment,” Kanwal said.
The evaluation process for the awards will be supported by PwC as the knowledge partner. NDTV said the collaboration is intended to strengthen transparency, rigour and process integrity throughout the selection exercise.
Vaishali Sood said the credibility of any award depends on the integrity of its process and noted that the evaluation framework has been built around deep industry insight and institutional credibility.
Meanwhile, Tamanna Inamdar said the awards are aligned with NDTV Profit’s editorial philosophy of looking beyond numbers to examine the quality of leadership influencing India’s economic trajectory.
The NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards will honour companies and leaders whose contributions have played a role in strengthening India’s economic confidence, institutional depth and long-term business growth narrative.
