Actor Rajeev Khandelwal says his upcoming reality show ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’ is designed to celebrate homemakers and acknowledge their everyday contribution rather than delivering any social message in a preachy manner. The actor believes the show gives women from different walks of life a platform where they can feel seen, valued, and appreciated for the roles they play within their families.
According to a PTI report, the reality game show, hosted by Khandelwal, focuses on the resilience, sacrifices, and emotional strength of homemakers and women from diverse backgrounds. The format aims to highlight the efforts of women whose contributions often go unnoticed despite being central to family life.
Speaking about the concept of the show, Khandelwal said the makers intentionally wanted to avoid making it sound instructional or overly emotional. “It’s not a preachy show, we don’t preach anything. It’s just that we give them a platform, we recognize their contribution and we invite them and we call them, tell them that this is your moment,” the actor said while interacting with PTI.
He further shared that the emotional impact of the show comes from making participants feel special and acknowledged in front of a large audience. According to Khandelwal, many women who appear on the show are experiencing this kind of recognition for the first time, which makes the experience deeply meaningful for them and their families.
The actor, known for shows like ‘Kahiin To Hoga’, ‘Left Right Left’, and ‘Sach Ka Saamna’, said the idea behind ‘Tum Ho Naa’ is rooted in appreciation rather than competition alone. The show attempts to blend entertainment with heartfelt storytelling by showcasing real women and their journeys in a relatable way.
With reality television increasingly focusing on personal stories and emotional connections, ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’ hopes to strike a chord with audiences by putting the spotlight on women who quietly hold families together every single day.
