NDTV has appointed Pritam Datta as Head of Graphics for its Hindi news channel NDTV India as well as regional channels NDTV MPCG and NDTV Rajasthan, further strengthening its creative and visual storytelling capabilities.
Datta brings more than two decades of experience in broadcast media, graphics design and creative leadership, having worked across some of India’s leading television news networks. In his new role, he will oversee graphics operations and visual presentation across the three channels, supporting the network’s editorial and programming teams.
Before joining NDTV, Datta served as Creative Head (Online) at Zee Media Corporation, a position he held from November 2020. During his tenure, he was responsible for driving creative strategies and visual content initiatives across the company’s digital platforms.
Prior to that, he spent more than five years with TV Today Network as Creative Manager, where he played a key role in developing on-air graphics, branding elements and visual communication strategies for the network’s news properties.
Earlier in his career, Datta was associated with Mahuaa Media and Zee Akash, building extensive expertise in television graphics, channel packaging and broadcast design.
The appointment comes as television news networks continue to invest in advanced graphics, data visualisation and immersive storytelling formats to enhance viewer engagement. Datta’s experience across both television and digital media is expected to contribute to NDTV’s efforts to strengthen the visual identity and presentation of its news coverage.
With his appointment, NDTV adds another experienced creative professional to its leadership team as it continues to expand and enhance its Hindi and regional news offerings.
