Bengali entertainment channel Aakash Aath has achieved a significant milestone with its popular historical drama ‘Khonar Kahini’ completing 300 episodes. The achievement highlights the show’s growing popularity among viewers and reinforces the channel’s commitment to delivering culturally rooted and meaningful regional content.

Directed by Milan Mondal, ‘Khonar Kahini’ has emerged as one of Aakash Aath’s flagship fiction properties. The serial has built a loyal audience base through its engaging narrative, which revolves around themes of destiny, wisdom, resilience and human relationships.

The completion of 300 episodes reflects the sustained viewer engagement the show has enjoyed since its launch. Over the years, the serial has successfully combined historical storytelling with emotional depth, strong character arcs and dramatic twists, helping it maintain relevance among audiences in a competitive television landscape.

Commenting on the milestone, Priyanka Bardia, Director of Aakash Aath, described the achievement as a proud moment for the channel and its creative team. She said the immense love received from viewers has played a crucial role in the show’s success and thanked audiences for their continued trust and support.

The drama follows the journey of Khona and Mihir while exploring themes of intellect, emotions and personal destiny. The current storyline has intensified audience interest with Khona finding herself trapped in a conspiracy orchestrated by Suryaketu. Forced into an unwanted marriage, the narrative takes a dramatic turn when her father, Atanacharya, steps in after recognising her true feelings. The developments have left viewers eager to see how the conflict unfolds and what lies ahead for Deuli.

Actor Eshika Routh, who portrays the adult Khona, said reaching the 300-episode mark is a special moment for the entire team.

“Being a part of Khonar Kahini and reaching the 300-episode milestone is truly a wonderful feeling. Over the years, we have shared Khona’s journey with our viewers, and their love and appreciation have been our biggest motivation. It is heartening to see how audiences have embraced her strength, wisdom and determination,” she said.
