Prime Video’s global Top 10 for the week ending August 30 saw action and thriller titles dominate, with ‘Reacher’ leading series and ‘Masters of the Universe’ topping films. The lineup underscored sustained appetite for high-octane originals, while Indian productions continued to feature prominently across non-English rankings.
Among English-language originals, ‘Masters of the Universe’ held the No. 1 spot on the films chart, followed by ‘Project Hail Mary’ and ‘The Devil’s Mouth’. The rest of the Top 10 included ‘The Sheep Detectives’, ‘A Working Man’, ‘Playdate’, ‘The Wrecking Crew’, ‘Beast Race’, ‘The Accountant 2’ and ‘Play Dirty’.
On the series side, ‘Reacher’ remained the most-watched Prime Original title worldwide. It was followed by ‘Sterling Point’, ‘Ride or Die’, ‘Off Campus’, ‘The Traitors (India)’, ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’, ‘The Boys’, ‘Clarkson’s Farm’, ‘Elle’ and ‘Batman: Caped Crusader’.
In the non-English films category, Brazilian title ‘Beast Race’ (also listed as ‘Corrida dos Bichos’) led the chart.
The Top 10 also featured German title ‘Back to the 90s’, Spanish entries ‘Culpa Mia’, ‘Culpa Nuestra’, ‘Culpa Tuya’, ‘Boulevard’ and ‘Agent Zeta’, Mexican title ‘Vengeance’ (‘Venganza’)
For non-English series, Indian content maintained a strong presence with four titles in the Top 10. ‘The Traitors (India)’ topped the list, followed by ‘Vadhandhi’, ‘Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya’, ‘Mirzapur’ and ‘The Family Man’.
Also featuring were Mexican series ‘No One Will Miss Us’ (‘Nadie Nos Va a Extrañar’), South Korean title ‘See You at Work Tomorrow!’, and German shows ‘Maxton Hall—The World Between Us’ and ‘LOL: Last One Laughing Germany’.
The weekly rankings are calculated based on total worldwide Prime Video accounts that viewed a title from Monday to Sunday, and differ from the country-specific, shorter-period data shown in the Prime Video app. TV series rankings are based on total accounts that watched any available season of the series.
Prime Video, available across more than 240 countries and territories, continues to expand its slate of originals alongside live sports and partner programming accessible via subscriptions on Prime Video and free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels.
