Prime Video has launched JOJO, a new Gujarati content add-on subscription for customers in India. The service brings a wide collection of Gujarati entertainment, including popular films, original series, comedy specials, cultural programmes, celebrity-led shows, and Gujarati nataks.
According to a Prime Video press release from Mumbai today, Prime members in India can subscribe to JOJO on Prime Video at an introductory price of Rs.299 for the first year. After the first year, the subscription will renew at Rs.499 per year.
JOJO’s content library features Gujarati films such as ‘Misri’, ‘Maharani’, ‘Jalso’, ‘Fakt Purusho Maate’, ‘3 Ekka’, ‘Dear Father’, ‘Vanilla Ice Cream’, ‘Reva’, ‘Builder Boys’, and others. The platform also offers original series including ‘Love Station’, ‘Medal’, ‘Gadbad Gotalo’, ‘Har Ghadi Mauj’, and ‘Rebound’.
Apart from films and series, viewers will also get access to Gujarati nataks like ‘Gol Papdi’, ‘Hasta Raho Gamta Raho’, and ‘Bhai Maro Bhaibandh’, along with comedy shows, cultural content, and regional entertainment highlighting Gujarati stories and talent.
Gaurav Bhasin, Head – AVOD Business and Marketplace, India, Prime Video, said that adding JOJO will help make premium Gujarati content available to audiences across the country through a single platform.
Dhruvin Shah, Founder and CEO of JOJO, said the partnership with Prime Video will help expand the reach of Gujarati entertainment beyond geographical boundaries.
Through Prime Video’s add-on subscription marketplace, customers can access multiple OTT services from one destination, with features such as a single login, billing management, consolidated watchlist, offline downloads, and personalised recommendations.
With JOJO’s addition, Prime Video now offers access to content from more than 30 add-on subscription services across different languages and categories.
