Prashant Panday, the CEO of Radio Mirchi for the past 23 years, has stepped down.
He made the announcement on Facebook, writing, “And it’s a wrap! I’m leaving Mirchi after 23 years…the most exciting brand and company in the world! I can’t thank my wonderful team enough, as well as everyone who has worked here since the beginning. This awesomeness was created by all of us! I will be eternally grateful to Vineet Jain, the visionary, and Amba Preetham Parigi, my mentor and first boss! None of this would have been possible without them! In a small way, I’m entering the venture capital space. “I’m confident our paths will cross again.”
He graduated from IIM Bangalore and has worked for a number of well-known companies, including Citibank, Mudra Communications, and Pepsico India Holdings Pvt. Ltd., to name a few.
