Indian pubcaster Prasar Bharti network brings the Navratri special programmes, live coverages, and much more to pep up the festive season.
The Navratri special programmes will be broadcast on Doordarshan (DD) and All India Radio (AIR).
For the whole week of Navratri, DD will bring the Durga Puja and live Aarti from various locations across the country. Which includes the famous ‘Mahalaya’ from Kolkata and ‘Shri Venkateswara Swamy Navratri Brahmotsavams’ from Tirupati.
Viewers can also watch Ayodhya ki Ramleela live from Ayodhya, October 6-15 on DD. Where the daily two episodes of Ramcharitmanas will be also telecast on DD National, an official statement from Prasar Bharti said.
All India Radio (AIR) will also broadcast the various Navratri special coverage and programmes from various locations. On the occasion of ‘Mahalaya’ on October 6, a special programme ‘Mahishasur Mardini’ will be broadcast in Hindi/Sanskrit from 4:00 – 5:30 Am on Indraprastha, FM Gold, and AIR Live News 24*7.
The Bengali version of ‘Mahishasur Mardini’ will be broadcast on the FM Rainbow network and Rajdhani channel.
All these audio-visual contents on AIR and DD will be available on Prasar Bharti’s NewsOnAir App and will also be live-streamed on the YouTube channels.
