Network18 Connected, the digital-first vertical of the Network18 Group, has named Pranav Bakshi as its new Chief Growth Officer. With this appointment, Bakshi steps into a key leadership role where he will drive growth across content, distribution, and revenue streams spanning digital, social, and Connected TV platforms.
Announcing the development through a LinkedIn post, Bakshi shared his excitement about the new responsibility, outlining his focus areas and reiterating his commitment to shaping the digital strategy of the group in a fast-evolving media landscape. This move underscores Network18 Connected’s vision to deepen its digital-first footprint and scale new engagement metrics across platforms.
Prior to this, Bakshi served as Head of Digital Video Strategy and Partnerships at Network18, where he was instrumental in overseeing digital video operations for marquee platforms like CNN-News18, CNBC-TV18, News18 India, and Firstpost. His strategic direction helped streamline content creation, amplify viewership, and forge critical partnerships that contributed to the network’s digital growth.
With a media career spanning over 17 years, Bakshi brings a rich blend of experience from both digital and broadcast ecosystems. He has held senior leadership positions at Times Network as Vice-President – Network Content, and at NDTV where he contributed significantly to editorial direction and digital content innovation. His previous roles also include key stints at Turner Broadcasting System and SAB TV, where he focused on content strategy, programming, and audience engagement.
