News18 Network will host the Rising Bharat Summit 2026 in New Delhi on February 27–28, bringing together policymakers, diplomats, industry leaders and cultural figures to discuss India’s growing global influence and strategic direction.
The two-day forum, themed ‘Spotlighting Bharat’s Rise: Driven by Strength Within’, will focus on India’s economic progress, policy vision and expanding role on the world stage.
According to a press release, the flagship summit will be headlined by a keynote address from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is expected to set the tone for discussions around India’s economic momentum, geopolitical positioning and long-term aspirations. The event aims to highlight how domestic strength, innovation and governance are shaping a confident and self-assured India.
Scheduled to begin at 10 am each day, the summit will serve as a platform for high-level dialogue on the country’s evolving global stature. It seeks to position India as a major centre for policy discourse and strategic thought, while showcasing its expanding influence across economic, diplomatic and cultural spheres.
The forum will feature a distinguished lineup of leaders from government, diplomacy, strategic affairs and industry. Key ministerial voices include Piyush Goyal, Minister for Commerce and Industry; Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Railways, Information and Broadcasting, and Electronics and IT; Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region; and Rekha Gupta, Chief Minister of Delhi.
The Global Diplomacy and Strategic Affairs segment will include international figures such as George Yeo, former Foreign Minister of Singapore; Nick Carter, former Chief of Defence Staff of the United Kingdom; and Carlos M. Gutierrez, former US Secretary of Commerce, along with ambassadors from Norway, Germany and Sweden.
Prominent voices from industry and innovation will also participate, including investor Ramesh Damani, David Tait of the World Gold Council, and Vishal Sikka, Founder and CEO of Vianai Systems, among others.
The summit will also host discussions on defence, technology and global challenges, alongside sessions featuring cultural and sporting personalities. Actor and Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut, badminton champion Saina Nehwal, cricketer Mohammed Shami, former Indian hockey captain PR Sreejesh, and film personalities Anil Kapoor and Yami Gautam are among those expected to share their perspectives.
The Rising Bharat Summit 2026 aims to encourage deeper conversations on leadership, policy and innovation at a time when India is undergoing significant transformation and global engagement. The event will be broadcast and live-streamed across News18 Network platforms, as well as CNBC-TV18 and CNBC Awaaz, offering viewers access to discussions shaping the country’s future trajectory.
