Prime Video has officially unveiled the trailer for the much-awaited ‘Panchayat’ S4, sending fans into a frenzy with its promise of high drama, small-town chaos, and familiar rustic charm. The new season is set to premiere globally on June 24.
The beloved comedy-drama, produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), once again transports audiences to the fictional village of Phulera, where humour and humanity go hand-in-hand. Created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, and co-directed by Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya, the fourth season picks up with the village embroiled in its fiercest political face-off yet — a dramatic electoral clash that promises to shake the foundations of the community.
Returning to their celebrated roles are Jitendra Kumar as the ever-sincere Sachiv Ji, Neena Gupta as the assertive Manju Devi, and Raghubir Yadav as her supportive husband Brij Bhushan. They are joined by fan favourites Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha, who together bring an unmatched authenticity to this fictional hinterland.
The newly dropped trailer paints a vivid picture of Phulera turned into a buzzing political battlefield. Packed with vibrant campaign rallies, tongue-in-cheek slogans, strategic manoeuvres, and plenty of village gossip, the central election battle between Manju Devi and Kranti Devi hints at a season that will be both uproariously funny and deeply emotional. The show continues to shine in its ability to find levity and warmth even in high-stakes village politics.
As per ANI, series creator and writer Chandan Kumar shared, “Each season unfolds naturally, always grounded in Phulera’s emotional rhythms. With Season 4, we dive deeper into the relationships and introduce dynamics that keep the world fresh while staying true to its heart.”
Veteran actor Gupta reflected on her character’s evolution and teased surprises in the upcoming season. “It’s been exciting to watch Manju Devi grow from a hesitant pradhan to a confident voice in village politics. This season brings unexpected twists. It’s fun, feisty, and full of surprises,” she said.
Meanwhile, Jitendra Kumar, who has become synonymous with the role of Sachiv Ji, said, “‘Panchayat’ is a cultural phenomenon. Its humour and grounded storytelling resonate with audiences across ages and geographies. Season 4 brings a new dose of warmth and chaos from Phulera, and I can’t wait for fans to dive in.”
