South Korean actress Kim Minha has been chosen to host the opening ceremony of this year’s Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
According to a PTI report from New Delhi today, Kim Minha began her acting journey in 2016 and has steadily built a strong presence in both films and television. She received global recognition for portraying young Sunja in Apple TV ‘s hit series ‘Pachinko’, an adaptation of Min Jin Lee’s bestselling novel.
Following her breakthrough in ‘Pachinko’, Kim Minha featured in several well-known Korean dramas, including ‘Light Shop’, ‘Way Back Love’ and ‘Typhoon Family’. Her performances have helped establish her as one of South Korea’s emerging stars.
Hosting the opening ceremony of the Busan International Film Festival marks another important milestone in Kim Minha’s career as she continues to gain recognition in the entertainment industry.
