Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis outlined a bold and progressive long-term vision for the state at the recently held Samruddha Maharashtra 2025, a high-impact conclave hosted by News18 Lokmat.
The event brought together a diverse mix of ministers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, artists, and thought leaders who engaged in critical conversations around the state’s developmental roadmap.
As per the News18 Lokmat press release, the conclave aimed to create a platform where actionable insights could be shared and strategies could be developed to address the evolving needs of Maharashtra. The event opened with a vibrant discussion among youth leaders like Meghana Bordikar, Varun Sardesai, Rohini Khadse, Shaina NC, and Sangram Kote Patil, who focused on the importance of sustainability, innovation, and the role of the younger generation in shaping the state’s future.
Among the highlights of the day was a compelling session by Aaditya Thackeray, who elaborated on the “Maharashtra Pattern of Politics.” He stressed the importance of ideological coherence, youth engagement, regional representation, and policy transparency as essential components of effective governance. Another power-packed panel, featuring leaders across party lines including Jitendra Awhad, Girish Mahajan, and Uday Samant, explored how collaboration beyond political affiliations is key to Maharashtra’s forward momentum.
In his keynote, CM Fadnavis addressed the audience with a detailed outlook on the state’s infrastructure plans, economic reforms, and strategies to position Maharashtra as a globally competitive hub. He emphasized the importance of inclusive growth and sustainable development, pointing to policy continuity and public-private partnerships as crucial levers of change.
The conclave also celebrated Maharashtra’s cultural wealth in the session “Kalapatadi Maharashtra,” featuring filmmakers Mahesh Manjrekar, Om Raut, and actor Bharat Jadhav. Discussions explored how storytelling, cinema, and theatre continue to shape the social and cultural identity of the state.
The Samruddha Maharashtra conclave was supported by MIT Design Technology – Pune and Reliance Industries Ltd, with special partners MIDC and Sandip University. Associate sponsors included Rotomag Solar Pump, Pimpri Chinchwad University Pune, LIC Housing Finance Ltd, and Mahagenco. Once again, News18 Lokmat demonstrated its commitment to not just covering Maharashtra’s growth story but also actively facilitating the dialogue that shapes it.
