Network18 has cemented its lead over Times Internet Limited across both digital and television platforms, according to the latest ComScore MMX Report for May. The data reinforces Network18’s dominance as India’s top news network, with strong performances recorded across its flagship digital properties and TV news channels.
As per the report, Network18 garnered 300.35 million unique visitors (UVs) with a 67 percent reach in May 2025, outpacing Times Internet, which registered 217.83 million UVs and a 48% reach. This marks the third consecutive month where Network18 has maintained a substantial lead over its closest competitor. In March and April, the group posted 315 million and 321 million UVs respectively, while Times Internet stood at 203 million and 196 million UVs for the same months.
According to the Network18 press release, the digital arm of the network, News18.com, has also continued its upward trajectory. It registered 245 million UVs in May, maintaining a strong edge over The Times of India, which stood at 200 million UVs. This lead has been consistent since March, with News18.com recording 251 million and 283 million UVs in March and April, respectively, against TOI’s 182 million and 173 million UVs.
Network18’s dominance extends beyond digital. On television, the group’s flagship channels continue to hold leadership positions across languages. CNN-News18 has remained the No. 1 English news channel for over three years in a row—an unprecedented feat in the Indian news broadcast industry. Meanwhile, News18 India continues to top viewership charts as the most-watched Hindi news channel.
This consistent leadership across platforms highlights Network18’s wide-reaching influence, cutting across regions, languages, and formats. Its growing reach and trusted journalism reaffirm its position as the most influential news network in the country.
