Neha Dhupia and Adil Hussain-starrer ‘52 Blue’ will open the London Film Festival on July 9. Directed by Ali El Arabi, the film will mark its premiere at the prestigious festival, bringing together audiences and filmmakers from around the world.
According to a PTI report, the film follows the journey of Ashish, played by Yadav Shashidhar, a young football fan from Kochi who dreams of watching the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and meeting his idol Lionel Messi. With support from his mother, Ashish sets out on a life-changing journey.
Dhupia will attend the London premiere along with Hussain and the film’s ensemble cast.
The screening is expected to attract international cinema lovers, industry professionals and members of the South Asian film community.
