NDTV has achieved a rare milestone in the digital news space, with all three of its key channels — NDTV India, NDTV 24×7, and NDTV Profit — emerging as leaders on YouTube at the same time, underlining the network’s growing dominance across languages and formats.
According to an NDTV press release, this clean sweep reflects a sustained strategy rather than a one-off spike, positioning the network as the number one news player on the platform through the combined strength of its diverse offerings.
The numbers tell a compelling story. NDTV India has crossed 3 billion views, reinforcing its strong connect with Hindi-speaking audiences. NDTV 24×7 has recorded 197.3 million views and maintained its leadership position for 10 consecutive months, while NDTV Profit has garnered 51.7 million views, steadily building its presence in the business and financial news segment.
At a time when digital consumption is fragmented and audience attention spans are increasingly short, NDTV’s performance stands out for its consistency and scale. Each channel has carved a distinct editorial identity — whether it is Hindi news, English current affairs, or business reporting — yet all operate under a unified approach rooted in credibility and trust.
Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of NDTV, credited the achievement to a clear and deliberate strategy. He noted that the simultaneous leadership of three channels is the result of focused editorial discipline and long-term effort, with each platform built around a specific purpose and audience.
The milestone also signals a broader shift in India’s digital news ecosystem, where leadership is no longer defined by a single flagship brand but by the collective strength of a network’s entire portfolio. For NDTV, this moment marks a significant inflection point as it continues to expand its footprint in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
