MTV Hustle, India’s groundbreaking hip-hop reality series, is making a comeback with its fourth season. Starting October 19, the show will air every Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm, on MTV and JioCinema, bringing a fresh dose of intense competition and raw talent as aspiring rappers compete to claim the title of India’s biggest hip-hop star.
This season promises to continue the thrilling mix of original music and fierce competition that has made the show a fan favorite. Leading the judges’ panel will be renowned rappers Raftaar and Ikka, both known for their contributions to the Desi rap group Mafia Mundeer. While Raftaar is famous for his energetic flow, Ikka is revered for his underground success and versatility, PTI reported.
Returning as Squad Bosses are Dee MC, Dino James, and EPR, with rapper RAGA joining the mentor lineup for the first time. Raftaar expressed his excitement about being part of the show again, stating, “MTV Hustle has always been a platform that brings out the true essence of Desi Hip-hop, and this season will showcase the passion and grind behind the music.”
Ikka, making his debut as a judge, added, “This is the only show that truly recognizes India’s hidden hip-hop gems. I’m thrilled to be in the judge’s seat alongside Raftaar, right at the center of all the action.”
Since its debut in 2019, MTV Hustle has consistently shone a spotlight on the country’s rising rap stars, with its third season wrapping up just a year ago in October 2023.
