JioCinema, India’s leading digital entertainment platform, has announced the appointment of Ishan Chatterjee as its Chief Business Officer (CBO).
This strategic move signals the company’s commitment to driving innovation and expanding its user base by enhancing digital experiences.
In his new role, Ishan will oversee overall monetization efforts, focusing on sports and SMB revenue growth across the entertainment and sports sectors.
Ishan brings over two decades of experience, including a successful stint as Managing Director of YouTube India, where he significantly influenced the platform’s strategy and growth. His extensive background also includes 13 years at Google, as well as roles at McKinsey and Hindustan Unilever.
Ishan is an alumnus of The Wharton School and St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and will collaborate closely with Kiran Mani in JioCinema‘s leadership team to continue the platform’s evolution into a tech-enabled digital powerhouse.
