Google has elevated Anant Mehrotra to the role of Global Product Lead for Play Partnerships, marking a key leadership move aimed at strengthening the global growth of its app ecosystem.
In his new position, Mehrotra will be responsible for driving product initiatives that support innovation and expansion across the Google Play ecosystem worldwide. Based out of Google’s Singapore office, his role will sit at the intersection of product strategy and developer success, with a focus on scaling Play’s global reach and enhancing the platform’s value for developers.
His mandate includes improving developer tools, strengthening partnership frameworks, and influencing the broader product roadmap for Play Partnerships. The role also involves ensuring smoother integration between Google’s platforms and its vast network of app developers, while leading cross-functional teams to drive monetisation and user engagement strategies across diverse digital markets.
