In a grand and spiritually charged launch, the trailer of the much-awaited mythological drama ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ was unveiled, offering a glimpse into an ambitious cinematic retelling of the great sagas of Shri Narasimha and Shri Varaha.
The film, backed by Hombale Films, marks the beginning of what is being hailed as the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe — a fully animated visual spectacle deeply rooted in Indian mythology and culture.
According to a UNI report, the trailer was launched in the sacred town of Vrindavan in the presence of renowned spiritual leader Indresh Upadhyay, fondly known as Indresh Ji Maharaj. The atmosphere was one of devotion and celebration as the creators paid homage to India’s spiritual heritage through a new-age storytelling medium.
“Now the time has come to roar!” said producer Shilpa Dhawan. “After five years of hard work, we are ready to bring the great saga of Shri Narasimha and Shri Varaha to the world. Every frame, every moment, every heartbeat has gone into bringing this divine story alive. Get ready for a visual masterpiece that will leave you speechless! The roar of Narasimha is coming… and it is going to change everything!”
Directed by Ashvin Kumar, the film is produced under the banner of Kleem Productions by Shilpa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai. The team has promised a mythological epic that blends devotional narrative with high-end visual artistry. The animation brings the stories of Narasimha — the fourth avatar of Vishnu known for slaying evil to protect dharma — and Varaha — the boar avatar who saved the Earth — into the cinematic realm with immersive visuals and 3D presentation.
“What could have been a more auspicious start than this!” shared director Kumar. “It was our dream to keep India’s culture and heritage alive through modern media and screen, and today that dream is coming true.”
‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ will be the first animated installment in a planned universe of mythological storytelling. The film is slated to release on July 25 in 3D format, across five major Indian languages, ensuring a wide reach among audiences of all ages and regions.
With a reverent approach to storytelling and a contemporary animation style, ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ promises to bridge ancient spirituality with modern cinematic experience — offering not just a movie, but a divine journey on screen.
