Lionsgate Play, the premium OTT platform, has made its entry into the Bangladeshi market through a strategic collaboration with Grameenphone, the largest telecom services provider in the country. This partnership aims to provide Bangladeshi viewers with seamless access to Lionsgate Play’s diverse content library.
Grameenphone, a part of the Telenor Group and boasting over 82 million subscribers, has added Lionsgate Play to its extensive portfolio, enriching the entertainment offerings for its users. The collaboration allows Grameenphone users to explore Lionsgate Play’s exclusive content, featuring blockbuster franchises such as John Wick, The Expendables, The Hunger Games, and SAW. Additionally, users will have access to premium international content, including Operation Fortune, Plane, Shotgun Wedding, The Wolf Of Wall Street, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, Kill Bill, and more.
Vaibhavi Parikh, Vice President of Lionsgate Play South Asia, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the platform’s commitment to expanding its presence in Southeast Asia. Parikh stated that the collaboration aims to provide audiences with seamless access to premium content, reaching screens across Bangladesh.

He emphasized that Grameenphone’s collaboration with Lionsgate Play enhances its entertainment library, catering to Hollywood enthusiasts in Bangladesh. Alam expressed pride in being the first to launch Lionsgate Play in Bangladesh, providing users with access to a vast library of content streaming partners.
