LinkedIn is reportedly launching an events platform, where it plans to list, host, and market interactive, virtual live events.
As per ANI, it will initially launch an audio-only product in beta this month, followed by a video version in the spring, with an initial focus on creators and hosts that use LinkedIn.
Since virtual events have gained a lot of traction in the last couple of years, LinkedIn plans to offer a virtual event product for now and to let event organizers design the format, according to the report.
Last year, LinkedIn began testing a paid, ticketed event option that it could add to this events service.
