Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar is all set to share the screen space with Arjun Kapoor in a new project, titled ‘The Lady Killer’.
Directed by Ajay Bahl, ‘The Lady Killer’ is billed as the story of a small town ‘playboy’ who falls in love with a ‘self-destructive beauty’ and their whirlwind romance.
Bahl, who has also penned the movie, has previously directed films like ‘BA Pass’, ‘Section 375’ and the upcoming Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘Blurr’, ANI reported from Mumbai.
Kapoor said he was hooked when he read the script of ‘The Lady Killer’ and called his role the ‘most challenging’ character yet.
Thrilled to work on the project, Bhumi said, “I’m always excited when something new and challenging comes my way and ‘The Lady Killer’ gripped me from the very start. As an artist, this role pushes me out of my comfort zone and gives me a lot to bite into. I can’t wait to start work on the film with Arjun, my director Ajay Bahl and my steller producers Bhushan sir and Shaailesh sir.”
‘The Lady Killer’ is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh.
