Popular South Korean actor Kim Seon-ho has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Indian fans for the love and support they have consistently shown him, saying their enthusiasm motivates him to give his best in every new project.
The actor believes audiences in India will not be disappointed with his upcoming Netflix drama, ‘Can This Love Be Translated?’, and hopes the show creates moments that resonate widely, much like the viral “smile challenge” from his earlier hit ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’.
Speaking in an interview that forms part of a PTI report, Kim Seon-ho said the anticipation around his new work is both humbling and energising. He noted that knowing fans across countries are eager to watch his next performance is one of the most rewarding aspects of being an actor. “I just feel so grateful for all the Indian fans showing us so much love and support,” he said, adding that the curiosity and excitement surrounding his projects make him feel proud and happy.
Kim Seon-ho, who has built a strong global following through acclaimed K-dramas such as ‘Good Manager’, ‘Start-Up’ and ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’, said the team behind ‘Can This Love Be Translated?’ has worked sincerely to meet fan expectations. He credited the collective effort of the cast, including co-star Go Youn-jung, and the entire production crew for shaping the series with care and dedication.
The actor also shared his hope that the new Netflix show will spark organic audience engagement and cultural moments, similar to the trends that emerged from his previous work. According to him, such responses are a sign that a story has connected deeply with viewers, transcending language and geography.
With growing interest in Korean content across India, Kim Seon-ho’s comments reflect the expanding global footprint of K-dramas and the strong bond stars are building with international audiences.
