Actor Rajeev Khandelwal shared an emotional and nostalgic moment on the upcoming episode of ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’ when contestant Farha revisited a memory from nearly two decades ago linked to the actor’s early television fame. The interaction brought back memories of Rajeev’s popular days as Sujal and turned into one of the most heartfelt moments on the show.
According to a Sony TV press release, Farha recalled an incident from Khandelwal’s visit to her college in Bhopal around 20 years ago. She remembered how nearly 500 girls had gathered and chased the actor during his appearance, creating such chaos that he had to leave abruptly. Describing it as a “pyaar wala hamla”, she shared that despite being among his admirers at the time, she never got the opportunity to meet him personally.
Reacting to the memory, Khandelwal smiled while recalling the incident and said he vaguely remembered the situation and the commotion that had unfolded back then. He admitted that he had to run away from the crowd and hinted that the situation had become a little overwhelming at the time.
Farha then shared that she had admired him for years and always wished to meet him someday. In response, the star-anchor turned towards her husband and jokingly remarked that truly handsome heroes are not easily found in life, adding that while she only knew him through the screen, the real hero in her life was sitting right beside her.
The emotional exchange continued when Farha expressed her wish to take Khandelwal’s autograph on her hand. However, the actor responded with humility, telling her that she herself had achieved a lot in life and deserved equal respect. Instead of giving an autograph, Rajeev suggested they simply shake hands, adding that standing beside inspiring people like her made him feel even more accomplished.
He concluded the interaction by saying that his stature grows whenever he stands alongside “superstars” like her, turning what began as a fan moment into a touching conversation filled with warmth, gratitude and mutual respect.
‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’, hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal, airs Monday to Friday on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
