Yuvaa, a pioneering youth media, research, and impact organization in India, has unveiled an unprecedented trailer for its upcoming series ‘Be A Man, Yaar.’
Hosted by Nikhil Taneja, the first-of-its-kind chat show aims to engage in unfiltered, candid conversations about ‘modern day masculinity.’ Set to launch on September 4, 2023, exclusively on Yuvaa’s YouTube channel (YouTube.com/weareyuvaa), the series is all set to challenge toxic masculinity and redefine the concept through open discussions.
Supported by Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies and with Amazon Music India as the audio partner, the series has garnered considerable anticipation. Longer episodes of the show are set to be exclusively streamed on Amazon Music India from the launch date.
The star-studded trailer features notable personalities from the Indian media and entertainment sphere including Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, Nakuul Mehta, Naseeruddin Shah, Zakir Khan, Naveen Kasturia, Amol Parashar, Vishnu Kaushal, Govind Kaushal, and Sushant Divgikr.
‘Be A Man, Yaar’ endeavors to create a haven for genuine self-expression while challenging stereotypes through entertaining episodes. Yuvaa’s mission with this series is to ignite vital discussions about masculinity, manhood, mental health, and well-being. By doing so, they hope to empower boys and men to defy societal norms and expectations, the company said in a statement.
